Occasionally, I will be posting "classic" posts from the past. The posts will be things that I still feel are relevant to today. This was caled "Baseball for Golf?"
This video is something that I have continued to do and expand on. I have added some hip stretches, carioca and skaters before hitting the Hurricane, then finish with the golfer hitting a few balls to try to help the idea of hip rotation to transfer.
Because I have a lot of clients that have problems rotating their hips and getting over to the left side (righty golfers), I have started to incorporate baseball swings to get them to really understand how the hips need to move. Check out this video.

Nice drill Anthony.. I agree.. Most golfers, and certainly most male golfer are tight in the hips.. I assume you roll and stretch prior to working patterns? Hip internal rotation is so important in the golf swing.. Brett

Thanks Brett. Yes, the first thing everyone does is foam roll. I have them do some hip drills, carioca and skaters before using the Hurricane as well, to make sure they have added some mobility and stability work before.
