Ant, I'm a little surprised as well that they don't give a little more in the way of fitness, but it hadn't really occurred to me until you mentioned it. I suppose I've just come to realize that I read about swings and people in the mags and get my fitness information from places like this.

Everywhere you turn these days, especially on TV, we're hearing about the importance of fitness in golf. There are entire shows dedicated to it. We regularly hear (and read) about Tiger's impressive regimen. We hear about guys like Steward Cink and Tom Leyman that added distance with new fitness routines over the last several years. We hear about how hard Camillo Villegas works in the gym. The list goes on.

Yet, the top magazines barely give it a cursory mention. I understand that they might not want to dominate the magazines with fitness, but a monthly focused instructional article would be of great benefit to people that are stuck trying to improve by just trying out the next swing tip that comes along, but who can't even make a full turn (for example) because of a physical limitation.
